Etymology

Bruises are referred to as "black and blue marks" despite the fact that they are most often green or purple in color. Bruises are caused when ruptured blood vessels beneath the skin clot with red blood cells -- causing the color of the skin to change. This is the exact same physiology as a hickey.

Notes

I found what I think may be the thinnest ravine I've ever seen -- only one or two blocks wide in some places. Also, there's a large ravine that disrupts the stronghold.

Etymology

Andalusite is a hideously ugly mineral composed of aluminum, silicon, and oxygen. It's dipyramidal crystal structure doesn't translate to the macro level like most other minerals -- even though it has a hardness of 7.0. And unlike, say, obsidian (which fractures with beautiful conchoidal style), Andalusite fractures with ridiculous unpredictability. In raw form, it usually looks like someone vomited all over it; after a stonesmith gets through with it, it's a pretty amber hued gemstone.

My Review

This is a dirty archipelago with tiny islands all over the place. There is a lot of swamp land, but getting past that you'll have lots of trees and desert to work with. There are two large flatland areas if you're interested in building something large. This is a fantastic seed.

Nether

This was a sweet nether. There's a really nice nether fortress here; it's not the biggest you'll find, but it will do. Plenty of lava and lava falls.
