My Review

Cold, barren, and icy. This level has few trees but some conveniently place frozen water for getting around and some good caves to have a look at. This seed is basically two main islands, one to the northeast and the other to the southwest. Even though the majority of the world is flat, I rated this level high in hills because the few hills it has are epic, interesting, and hard to traverse. Incidentally, in the photo above, you can see a clay deposit in addition to the interesting formation.

My Review

Well, this seed is not what you would call a winner. The forests are very distant apart and clumped together, so it's hard to find wood when you need it. There is a large desert and plenty of gravel, but other than that, it's slim pickings. I was impressed with the elevated overhang in the photo at top because if you look carefully, you can see a cow that was living up there. I don't think that's what they had in mind when they say that hamburgers can raise your cholesterol. The rest of the board is barren and forgettable.

• [-321.75.-147] I don't know why, but there's a huge number of yellow flowers here. I figured I'd mention it in case you're looking to plant a garden.

The image at top is an elevated platform with a cow stuck on it. Two all-beef patties to whoever can get the cow down at -161.67.134. The other is just a cool rock formation that I happened across.

My Review

I took a look at this level and was impressed immediately because it just so happens that I spawned next to a pumpkin. I was very excited. But during the rest of my walkabout, I was quite blasé. So, this level was tracking around the 21-23 overall score mark when all of a sudden, I found the biggest pumpkin patch I've seen in Minecraft. This patch is so amazing that even Linus would be happy. When added to the availability of trees, this level really picked up at the last moment and surprised me with a pretty descent score. Also, you can find a lot of sugar here.

My Review

Sticking with my theme of the day which was don't over think it (see "2"), I decided that "asdf" might give me something. Nope. Don't get me wrong, it's an okay board and definitely suitable for beginners, but don't think this thing is going to rock your world anytime soon. The northwest of the map is covered in mountains. I was not impressed by the availability of any goods, so really this is a basic map with some cute elements that make it worth a one-time look.

There are also flowers surrounding the cave which was interesting because it's in a part of the board that is otherwise empty (-211.85.-202) so it almost calls you over to it.

My Review

The single best board of the day was bookended by the two worst of the day -- including this one... the worst. This board was so flat I didn't even have to space myself to take a photo of it. It's flat. Flat. Flat. No mountains or hills. There are many, many squid in the deep and complex ocean waters surrounding the sands of this desolate, barren sandbar. Huge swaths of gravel, if you happen to go that way. I would not recommend this for a beginner and experts and above may be able to find subterranean caverns to make it interesting, but I suspect that's going to take some serious patience.

My Review

Second worst board of the day. I tried to find something that I liked and I did: there is a single cluster of big trees/hills due northeast of the spawn that, if you confined yourself to that one exclusive area, could potentially provide you with about an hour worth of entertainment. This seed just doesn't work. Miles of grass and sugar surrounded by miles of shallow water. Skip.
